ShoppingAds adds Call-to-Action

ShoppingAds, a new CPC ad network owned by MediaWhiz, has added an option to embellish ads with a call-to-action. Show below are the 180×150px and 120×234px ads with and without the call-to-action.

The normal ads, even with options to change the border, background, and font colors, can be quite dull. The embellished ad using a classic marketing technique known as “call-to-action”. Customers want to get in on a good deal so the ad promises that the price is “hot”. The call-to-action should increase the click-through-rate (CTR) although I don’t have specific data.

The downside is that the color of the go-button, best price font, and the star burst is not selectable. That shade of red might not blend well with all themes.
